Billing and refund policy
How plans are billed, renewed, changed and refunded.
This Billing and Refund Policy explains how Ledgerly, Inc. (“Ledgerly”) charges for subscription plans and transaction fees, and when refunds are available. It forms part of our Terms of Service. All prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes.
Plans and prices
Ledgerly offers three plans. Core is free. Team costs $29 per month when billed monthly, or $24 per month when billed yearly as a single payment of $288. Scale costs $79 per month when billed monthly, or $64 per month when billed yearly as a single payment of $768. Current prices and the features included in each plan are always shown on our pricing page and in your account settings.
Billing cycle
Paid plans are billed in advance at the start of each billing period. Monthly plans renew on the same day each month, and yearly plans renew on the anniversary of the purchase date. Your plan renews automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. The account owner receives a receipt after every charge and, for yearly plans, a reminder email at least 14 days before each renewal.
Payment method
By default, plan fees are deducted from your Ledgerly account balance. You can choose instead to pay with a credit card or by ACH debit from another bank account in your billing settings. If a payment fails, we will retry it over the following seven days and notify the account owner. If the payment still cannot be collected, we may move the account to the Core plan until the balance is paid.
Upgrades
When you upgrade from Core to a paid plan, or from Team to Scale, the new features are available immediately. For monthly plans, you are charged a prorated amount for the rest of the current billing period. For yearly plans, we credit the unused value of your current plan against the price of the new plan and charge the difference.
Downgrades
When you move to a lower plan, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access to your current features until then. If your account exceeds the limits of the lower plan, such as the number of users or cards, you will be asked to remove users or freeze cards before the change takes effect.
Cancellation
You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, after which your account moves to the Core plan. Canceling does not close your Ledgerly account; to close it entirely, contact support.
Refunds
We want you to be confident in your plan, so we offer the following refunds.
Yearly plans are fully refundable within 30 days of purchase or renewal
After 30 days, yearly plans are not refunded
Monthly plans are not refunded for partial months
If we charge you in error, we refund the full amount
If the Services are unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours because of a failure on our side, you may request a credit
Refunds are returned to the original payment method within ten business days of approval. To request a refund, contact support@ledgerly.com from the account owner’s email address with your company name and the date of the charge.
Transaction fees
Some activity carries transaction fees, which are separate from plan fees and are not refundable once the transaction is completed. These include a 1% fee on card purchases in a currency other than US dollars, a $10 fee for each outgoing domestic wire, and a 2.9% processing fee on card payments your customers make through invoice payment links. ACH transfers and US dollar card purchases do not carry fees. Current fees are always listed on our pricing page.
Taxes
Prices do not include sales, use or similar taxes. Where we are required to collect taxes, they will be added to your invoice based on your business address. If your business is tax-exempt, send a valid exemption certificate to billing@ledgerly.com and we will update your account.
Price changes
We may change plan prices or transaction fees. We will notify account owners by email at least 30 days before any increase takes effect. For yearly plans, a price change applies from your next renewal date.
Billing questions
If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact billing@ledgerly.com within 60 days of the charge. We will review it and respond within five business days. Disputes that cannot be resolved this way are handled under our Complaints and Dispute Resolution Policy.
